versace? are you serious?

While searching for some online children's boutiques I came across Vivace Wear. "Vivace Wear offers the finest selection of Italian clothing and shoes for children from newborn to six years." Of course I had to check it out. I mean, who knows? Spit-up might actually look cool on fine Italian clothing. Here's the part where I tell you something you might not know: Versace actually designs a line called Versace Young. Yep, Versace makes children's clothing. Now you too can dress your child in a Versace denim skirt for $268 or better yet, a fur cardigan for $338. I bet they're even dry-clean only, so be sure and tack that on to the price tag.

If Versace's not in your budget, perhaps you'll be interested in the Leather Lace Up Boot for boys. It's only $78 and sure to last almost a year before you'll need the next size up. I mean, what boy's wardrobe is complete without some Italian leather shoes? You don't want him to be the only one without a pair at school this year.

Perhaps I sound a little cynical, but when my kids' favorite shirts are the ones they tie-dye at Bear Lake every year, why waste my money on something they'll probably never wear (and which will be covered in mud at the first sign of spring)? Of course, those Versace glitter jeans were pretty cute. I wonder if they come in my size?
